Description
The APS system is designed for fire protection of atriums and other large open interiors where the main fire risk is positioned on the floor, and where low to medium fuel loads are found.
The system is a horizontal deluge system and is designed to blend into the building structure for esthetic appearance. The system comes in different versions for different size atriums, and can cover up to 13m into the atrium from the installation point, only using 10 bar water pressure. The system is supplied with 6 open nozzles and a 6 meter length of stainless steel pipe with 6 prefabricated installation holes for the 6 small nozzles to be connected directly into the pipe with spacing on the pipe of 1 meter. The design saves cost on fittings as well as reduces the risk of getting impurities into the pipe when installing the system.
