Product specification:
Unigarn flax/hemp is a pure, natural product, made from fine Belgian long-fibre flax/hemp of uniform quality, obtained from the stem of the flax plant. 3-stranded coarse sealing flax/hemp is made of short-fibre flax and is deliverable both un-tarred and tarred.
Use:
The sealing flax is wound evenly on the thread and tightly on the total thread length in the tightening direction. Thereafter, the proper amount of jointing compound is spread evenly on completely packed thread; then the joint is tightened immediately and the system is ready for use.
Technical specifications:
In case of high temperatures (over 130 °C), there is a risk of scorching the flax fibres. [full_width]
